Most Teardrop do it yourselfers build their chassis with square stock. I would have preferred this method myself, however it occurred to me that it might be easier to place a belly pan or sub floor {to keep out the water) on a continual framework of angle iron for better support and easier suspension of the sub floor material. I chose 2"x 3"x1/8" angle stock for the framework..
